Welcome to Commskit's simple Content Management System based on PmWiki, a freely available software package written by Patrick Michaud.

The system allows anyone knowing the 'editing' password to contribute new pages to the website or to modify existing pages.

The website can be divided into different sections with different passwords so groups can have and maintain their own pages thus relieving pressure on (usually overworked volunteer) webmasters!

The PmWiki system is being configured by David Gregory, Commskit's (volunteer) Manager, to be able to form an addition to the Webhosting service offered by the Beds and Herts Churches Media Trust

The basic editing page describes how to create pages in PmWiki. You can practice editing in the wiki sandbox - (which in pencil-and-paper terms would be called a jotting pad.)
